Public Outreach
Organic semiconductor research combines many different aspects of fundamental science and applied engineering and is a prime example of how "blue sky research" can provide "solutions looking for a problem". The research topic lends itself well to promoting the public understanding and appreciation of basic science and public outreach activities are held at regular intervals.
